Occasionally yes, but as a general rule of thumb no.

Youll come across far more reg's on the $100 tables.

You can take it to the bank, as a general statement (cause individual circumstances may vary) No matter the poker game you are playing, the higher you play at the same Venue the less fish you will find.

BUT, you can not generally compare apples to oranges (ie Los Angeles NL 1/2 to Atlantic City NL 1/2)

I think there is an arguement here.
Although through sheer numbers of players, there are more 'fish' at 50NL.
The Fish are definitely fishier at 100NL than the fish at 50NL in my opinion.

Why?
Your casual player who does not know nor care about bankroll management throws on say $100-$200 with a deposit.
They then just sit at the first $100NL or even $200NL table they find until they make a few buyins or lose it.
The people who deposit and sit down at 1 table with their whole deposit tend to deposit more than $50 I would imagine.

And obviously this depends on the site time of day etc. and since this is only opinion, is probably dead wrong.
But it makes sense if you think about it for a minute.

Lol, BR of $200 buying in to a $50 or $100NL game, but of course it is true. Unfortunately, they don't usually last long. Fortunately, it is common.

In my opinion it is to types of reggs.

Reggdonks ( plays to aggressive and are easy to bust, and are often multitabling over 12 tables often 20 tables)

And good reggs. (Plays correctly and are often playing at fewer tables often below 12 tables)

I find that 100NL has far more reggdonks than NL 50.

Thanks for the great replies. I thought people would hate me for starting this thread LOL

Well I haven't done 100nl but at least at 50nl the majority of the multi-tablers are the standard TAG players. None of them play too aggressive or extremely loose and are not easy to bust. Now some I've found just play way too tight and with the blinds and rake either lose money or barely make any at all. There's at least one guy at 50nl though who I have over 2k hands with and is winning at about 4 PTBB/100 at tables I'm at with him.

After playing 4000 hands I have found the NL 100 to be tougher than 50NL.

(At the beginning ( learning fase) I lost 300 dollar. BUt after improving my game alot it was getting better.)

The main reason because NL 100 is tougher is because some of the reggs are really, really good

But the difference overall in skill is small.....

It is some who plays to tight in NL 100 to, but not as many as it is on NL 50
