I was concidering doing this in a blog and was like nah I hate those things. I decided I would rather do it here because you guys are like family to me, hell I have known you all for years. So this is my progress thread, for those that dont know me I have been playing different levels for years ranging from .01/.02 NL to 5/10 NL, never went higher then that. Live I have always pretty much played 1/2 nl and 2/5nl, never ventured into 5/10nl yet. My online cash game has a lot of holes in it, mostly because the money I put online is always just a couple hundred and I play higher levels because that is what im used to.

well that I decided needs to stop now, beginning the 1st of the new year I will be working on getting money together for wsop next year so I know for those 6 months I will not be able to put money online at all. So I need to establish a online bankroll now. My goal is by the end of this year to have at least $2500 online, remember I have a baby coming in October so Its not as easy as it sounds. Now I must admit I played 333 hands of $25 NL today but most of my play was at $10 NL. Im going to use this thread to track it. I will put my key winning and losing hands in here as well as my daily updates. Feel free to comment away on anything, oh yea if I do any videos they will be in here also.

edit - forgot to add that I need 25k hands at each level before moving to next one.

no really key hands today, everything played pretty straight forward today. Didnt have to make too many hard decisions here are stats for the day.

I've switched to ring games myself, and I'm interested in your true progress. I started out doing well, had some horrible beats yesterday and today ran into a couple coolers, but all in all I'm happy with the progress.

had to restart my whole database for this, let me explain why. 1st I will let you hear my conversation I had with myself last night.

at this point my present self left in disgust. What happened was I got in some crappy situations upstairs on my desktop and lost some money... a lot of it. Well I went downstairs and got it all back by the end of the night, which I dont suggest ever doing what I did. It is stupid as hell and I was stupid as hell to do it. I fell like a freaking idiot because I let myself get soo steamed. I know better. so I reset my database.

Lmao, this is exactly what i am like.
I lost two buyins (both suckouts), playing $10 max. Then i thought f**k this, I'm getting my money back the quickest way. So, i went and played a few $3 $6 limit hands (which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high limits for me) and made my $20 back. I was lucky that i didn't lose even more though, if that happened, even though it would of been all my fault, i would of been on super tilt. Anyway, i hope i don't do it again.

Lol I've had worse, but that is pretty bad. (quads beat by higher quads)

ok just had a hour sitting at $25nl. Only made like $9 but if I would of sat longer would of made a lot more. Had this crazy image and was getting tons of action on my hands. I did a video on it but really dont know if im putting video up because I dont know if I really want people to attempt what I was doing. If you cant change gears real easy and know when to it could cost you money in long run. basically what I was doing was 3 betting super light and shoving on somewhat decent draws but it was all in order to create a image. Like one guy I had top pair and gutshot but knew I was behind and let him take $5 from me and then got into pot later on with him and because of that earlier hand was able to stack him.

I ran about a 20/13/1.45 which is right around where I want to be, make a little higher vpip like 24-28 but all in all decent numbers. And never went above $25nl. Played some STT today and made money in a 180 person one.

STT and Tourneys

played in 8 tourneys, well 1 tourney and some speed $2 STT and some full table ones. ROI was 11.04, not bad but not great either.

at this point im up $100 right now.

all in all a good redemption day from yesturdays idiot time, this is new Storm talking locked old Storm in the basement till he can control his tilt.

You rock!! Do me a favour though...let the old Storm out of the basement once in a while to respond to idiotic posts.

well Im undecided where I actually want to start. Im comfortable at both levels and the money is not really a issue. I have $500 online right now with the ability to add more if I like. Im actually really looking forward to next week when my pokerstars account is unlocked so I can mainly play all my tourneys over there and all my cash games at FT. I really dont know what level to start at really?

for some reason I have 2 lines with level $10 NL 57 hands of one and 53 of other? I guess I combine them.

in $25nl I have 723 and $25pot limit I have 202 hands, I might just drop back down to $10 and then move up.

Soooo, logically I have moved up limits and am trying to make it back. So far so good but quitting soon.

Actually I am rollled for this limit ($50) but I like to have lots of leway usually.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGG freaking storm got out of the basement. I dont know how he did it but he managed to again play levels beyond where he should be. He was sitting at a couple 2/4 tables, he had lost about $200 last night and then managed to flop a set vs KK and ended up +$300 total. This brings him to $800 bankroll online right now.

Just did video of 4 tabling $25nl, it is compressing now. Couple interesting situations nothing too big but decent video. I will have it up later tonight for you guys. I ended up today about $30, lost some at $10nl but made it all back plus some at $25 NL which im bankrolled for. Still going to do the 25k thing but going to start it at $25nl and drop down if I fall below $500. Not going to play any tourneys on full tilt at all, going to play all my tourneys at pokerstars and save FTP just for cash games.

Serious note though im very upset that I let myself go to the 2/4 game, It ended up good for me seeing as I made so much and I kinda felt like I was outplaying table. Was playing in a way that made me very unreadable, limping a lot and stuff, which is why I think my set of eights was payed off so much by the KK. BUT and this is big but this is not good play and not something I suggest at all, please dont follow my example here. I dont plan on doing it again im happy with $800.
