Hi everyone,
What i would like to know is what you would do if you had a step 3 ticket on full tilt.
A Try and get it up to step 4 or higher
B Enter the 45 player sng.
C Enter one of the garanteed $26 tournamets and if so which one.
D Anything else
Thanks
Telboy

I would say it depends on how big your bankroll is. If you only have a small amount, I would definitely play the $26 matrix SNG. It gives you the best chance of coming away with some $$. They are turbo but the players don't seem to be very good. Saw a guy finish last in 3 of the 4 SNGs in one of the few I have played. You can imagine how skilled he was!

If you are OK with taking a shot with it, I would probably play the $30k gtd KO tourney @ 15:00 ET. That is a Multi-Entry tourney though so maybe a smaller field would be better.

There is another KO @ 09:00 ET (~650 entrants) that might suit you better. And if KO tourneys aren't your cup of tea, they have a $26 tourney pretty much every hour on the hour, so have a look and take your pick.

If it was me, I'd definitely go for 1 of these 2 options. Best of luck whatever you decide.

Can this ticket be divided to enter more tourneys with lower buy in ?
And what is a matrix SNG ?

Steps tickets can't be divided to be used on multiple lower buyin games. They can only be used in the steps games for levels 1 and 2 but at level 3 and up you can use them for any game of that buyin. ($26 for step 3)

In Matrix SNGs you play the same 9 players in 4 different SNGs simultaneously. Top 3 places pay in each and top 3 overall also get paid. The idea is that it reduces variance. There is a tab for Matrix in the SNG list if you wanna check it out. There is an explanation there too.

I've never played any of the 'matrix' sng's on FTP (didn't know they still had them??). I've got some $75tickets.. maybe I'll use them for matrix (don't like the idea of getting the big ZERO for them in an MTT... had 10 x Step3 tickets before & blanked on all of them in MTTs in the past, actually bubbling the last one, lol).

I used to love playing the $26 matrix after winning a step3 ticket. It used to take a while for all the seats to fill though. $75 matrices were rare, and probably take forever to fill up these days.

Option "D"..play a $26 matrix SNG.

And if your total bankroll is in the micro range, under $100 say, and as soon as you have more then $50, transfer it over to Stars before FTP crashes'n'burns..it's just a matter of time given their accounting issues.

Good to know (thanks). I guess I'll scratch that from my list of options for $75tickets. I wonder how long the 45plyr SNG's take to fill these days?

Pre "BF", I used to play the $75 matrix as well, but post "BF", they are damn near impossible to find enough players for. The $26 matrixs still fill up easily.
The 45plyr SNG's at the $26 buy-in were really tough fields when I played them. There were 'alot' of people in them who multi-tabled 4,5,6 of them at once. And if you looked up their stats online, it was obvious they were successful at them.
The $26 matrix is a better option for bankroll building if that is what you are trying to do.

Many thanks for your kind explanation on both of my questions.
Very helpful to me - thanks a lot.
