This maybe the most painfully obvious thing and I may a bit premature and optimistic posting this but..
For the past month I've semi been on a detox diet, that being organic food only, no addtives, seasoning, nothing.
When I lasted a week I made quite a decent ROI/ITM from 1 tabling, 44% iirc
Since I regressed I have noticed I have tilted, spewed, done retarded shit, been 'robotic' whilst still making 40%ITM I was breakeven for 2 weeks, now mind you this is part time as I study so lets not these stats reflect on a 9-5 lifestyle of poker.
Now since I've been strong, and decided to detox again, now on my 4th day, not so much the first day but 2nd.3rd and now currently 4th, maybe its all in my head but who knows but I've noticed I've been the complete opposite, and now making profit again, while making some sound decisions, not overplaying hands, tough laydowns, folding tough spots that I think take me 7 days prior I woulda made regardless?
So how important is a diet and can it really affect your mental game a great deal, I mean sure you may get enough sleep but without the nutritional value how much of these chemicals in our food that we ingest, have an effect on us, I maybe speaking crazy when I go down the road of chemicals but I saw a similar topic on 2plus2 a few months back which I skimmed read.
