Starting out

So i have a question. I'm not really hardcore into poker or anything, nor do i want much pressure playing with actual money that i have to deposit. So i was just playing some freerolls to get used to online poker (probably played like 2 weeks) and came first in one so now i have a BR of ~8$. Soooo, i really don't have a problem losing it all etc etc (i make 3 times that an hr if i bother working), but i would like to know how to proceed to build a BR up (i presume 8$ is something to work with).

Unfortunately the site where i won the freeroll (pitbullpoker...don't laugh i know the players are terrible and prizes suck but having freerolls every hr with only ~700 people is nice coz im never going to register for one 4 hrs in advance or anything...nor do i feel like playing vs 12000 other ppl on PS for no prize) has lowest limits at .10/.20 and isn't exactly active or anything.

So can you transfer a bankroll at all? Or do you need a decent amount of money? If you can't then what shoudl i play? Should i laye .1/.2 or try SnG buy ins? And how much should i take onto the table if im doing .1/.2?

Thing is, i doubt i will ever bother depositing money into an account, but i can't see myself playing freerolls only again if i did actually lose the 9$.

So advice would be nice.

thanks

The thing is with $8 your limiting yourself to the type of games you can play. If you have micro stakes cash games at your poker site then try them out. To build a bankroll from $8 is going to be a long haul and not particularly easy, but it's not impossible. Read the strategy articles at the top for advice on BRM and also use the search facility for previous threads, believe me there's lots of them and some of them have really useful links.
