Is anyone playing in the WCOOP on Stars? Normally this would be too expensive for me but I managed to qualify to play through the Steps SnGs. I think I'm going to take a vacation day from work and play the first tourney, $1,000,000 guaranteed NLHE on Friday the 5th.

Might have a crack at a step one during the week after my tilt calms down,

Gl Alon and Irexes

A hypothetical question, say I get to step three can I un-register and use the funds to start form step one again?

I qualified for the $320 heads up tourney once and the $530 NL holem 6 times. So I will play both of those and I will probably qualify for the $5200 main event and play in that one.

So when you get to the step tourney that has an equal buy-in of a WCOOP game, you can use the step ticket for that tourney? Wow, I'm gonna be playing these

I didn't think it was all that hard to do. Step 1 was actually the hardest with 3 payouts (2 advances and a replay). If I remember right, step 3 has 5 payouts (2 advances, 2 step 3 replays and a step 2 replay) I may be wrong though.

What I find is it is hard to find the steps to play.

Looking now, midnight in UK, looking @ Holdem, Omaha, Razz, Stud, HORSE, and at present there is one step 2 game with 3 people waiting. It has been like this for over an hour.

Im on my way to enter some $215 events I have 4 step 3 tickets. Its a very good deal. The only problem for me is getting past the level one there are manic players just shoving trying to get a large stack.

Well I'm waiting to play the step 4 for the PLO event #30. It's an 18 table. I think I'm gonna have to wait for a while.

Depending on my schedule I'll try to play in a $215 event. Also I'll check out the steps, those seem to be relatively soft.

arg i dunno what to do, i feel i should play in at least 1 event purely because its the WCOOP, but i really don't want to play in a really long tourny

Argh decisions decisions, ill probably end up just playing a new event like the 2-7 single draw or something just because i feel i have to

I'm going to ****ing kill someone. I've taken 3rd place 3 times in event one, finally decided to just buy into step 2, guess what place I got there? Got another ticket so another shot. I'm sick of playing with 5 big blinds and having to race for the ticket though.

I'm registered! Deep stack is definitely not my favorite but will give it my best. Doesn't look like they're going to break for the day so I'm guessing a 16+ hour tourney if they get the amount of people I think.

ok won a ticket for round 4. If it fills up I'll be playing it shortly, otherwise I'll try it tomorrow. Top 3 get a ticket to event 6 ($530 NLHE), 4th gets $210, which if I win I will use to pay for buying in directly. 5-9 get nothing so I'll have to make sure not to finish 5th - 9th .

re: Stars WCOOP poker

Well I'm in step 4, won a coin flip against a shortstack to get a little higher than average, then this happened:

Blinds: 15/30
Site: Pokerstars
Dealt to SB:2♥ 9♠
Preflop:
5 players fold.
Hero raises 30 to 60
BB raises 30 to 90
Hero calls [30]
Total folds this street: 5
Potsize: 180
Flop:
2♠ 4♥ 9♥
Hero bets [120]
BB raises 260 to 380
Hero raises 1610 to 1990 [ all-in ]
BB calls [695] [ all-in ] Uncalled bet (915) returned to Hero
Potsize: 3245
Turn:
A♠
Potsize: 3245
River:
5♥
Results:
Hero shows two pair, Nines and Deuces:
2♥ 9♠ BB shows three of a kind, Aces:
A♣ A♦
BB collected 2330 from pot

Still alive, but not looking all that great.
