or is it the bonus will go up to $240 (meaning deposit = $600)? That'd be even sweeter.

their normal reload bonus is 20%, up to $600 deposit... I read it as deposit $600, get a $240 bonus

which is indeed sweet!

I see you need 20 VPP/$ to clear that bonus. What rakeback % does that make?

Here's the T&C for it,

PokerStars.com - 40% Deposit Bonus

So it's a no to the withdraw then deposit.

Depends on what games you play, amount of rake and amount of vpps you earn vary by game. Also note that while you're clearing the bonus you also get to keep the fpps that can be used for other things.

From my numbers, you'll need to play a little under 21k hands to clear a full $240 bonus, which comes out to a boost of 1.15 PTBB/100. Not sure what rake is at that level.

That's very nice. I think it's a little more than the rakeback i get on FTP. I guess i'll have to add move some funds back to PS, then.

you can always deposit to get the reload bonus and get your money out once the bonus is cleared. I always keep part of my bankroll on neteller for this purpose.

Yup, if you are playing sufficient hands anyway, it makes sense to stick in another $600 and take out $840 after in a week or so. What you shouldn't be doing is depositing $600 JUST to clear $240. The risk you'll have to take (20,000 chances of losing $50) and the rake you'll pay will make $240 seem like a drop in the ocean.

Agreed, don't just deposit to clear the bonus, but if you're already playing enough anyway, it's literally a free $240.

damn, echecks won't let me change the bank account, got no money in my account at school. Emailed Stars support about it though, so hopefully it gets resolved soon.

WOW, just got a response from Stars, they've removed the information and I can now input my other account. It took exactly 3 minutes to respond, chalk another one up to Stars support.

If you use the check feature of Stars, it's very easy to email Stars and ask them to clear the fields so you can enter different account info. I've done it a couple of times and they are usually very quick to respond.

So if I deposit $200 I'd get $80 in bonus (meaning 800FPP)?

Yes $80, but it's 20x not 10x so you have to get 1600 base fpps to clear it.

So on Stars, however, once you reach a certain level you get a FPP multiplier right? That helps unlock the bonus faster?

No, the multiplier doesn't count towards clearing the bonus. Stars' wording is always a bit confusing. When they speak of "base FPP" they mean VPP, i.e. unmultiplied.

Ah I see. So just play a butt-load and you'll get your bonus. Pretty much how it works everywhere. I was planning on moving the BR over to pokerstars anyways, so just going to do it now to take advantage of the bonus. See ya on pokerstars guys.

Can you withdraw the money and still get the bonus? If you don't clear all the reload by the 180 days are you credited what you cleared?

I only clear 331 VPP or $17 this year at $5 NL. It seems like you'd have to play non stop to clear anything more then $25-$50 in 1 year at $5 NL

Yeah, it's almost impossible to clear a bonus at 5NL. 10NL, you could do it, but you'd have to play A LOT.

I'm still grinding at 25PL, so I'll be taking advantage of this bonus. At least a couple hundred worth anyway.

Do you really have 180 days to clear this bonus? Usually they give you 90 days, has that doubled as well? I also play 10NL, so clearing bonuses takes a while, and having more time to do it would be great.
