The nice thing is, i should be able to clear my bonus without spending any money, as i should get enough FPP's from the 2 WCOOP events i won an entry to. not positive it'll work, but i have gotten FPP's from tournaments i've won an entry to from a sattelite before. -n

Is it me or is it harder than it used to be to earn PokerStars FPP's? I play .50/$1 LHE and it says the rake has to be more than .40 per hand to get a point. That means the pot has to be $8.00. I figured out that the average shown-down pot at these stakes is around $5.00 and the a pot rarely makes it over $7. I just got done playing about 80 hands. I checked my points and it says I earned 7 FPP's. WTF? I have to earn around 170 to get my $24.00 bonus released. I guess I'm stuck. My BR is not big enough to step up to $1/$2 LHE rings. I only get 2 FPP's for a $5 or $6 SnG and my BR can't handle the risk of the $10 ones. I'm not sure what to do besides ditching the bonus and withdrawing. I really want to like PokerStars, but these little red flags keep popping up every time I go back. Anyone have any suggestions?

re: Stars reload 9/14 - 9/19 poker Play .50/1 HORSE if you have so much as a basic understanding of the games. The players are terrible (I assume, given that they're really bad at 1/2), and more pots should reach the rake threshold because of the extra stud betting rounds and of course the hordes of people not knowing what they're doing, and thus just settling on hammering the 'call' button. With the silverstar 1.5* bonus I get >100 FPP/hr 4-tabling 1/2 HORSE. At 1/2 the rake threshold is at a $15 pot (I think), so there's not that great a difference, in fact it might be easier to get FPPs at .50/1 if the players are considerably worse. So basically your 170 FPP req is probably about 7 hours on one .50/1 HORSE table, obviously cut if you can multitable it. Heck, looking at the Stars lobby the avg pot at a couple of the .50/1 HORSE tables is over $10, compared with the miserly $4-$6 at most of the LHE tables.
