Erm... no, it's not. It's really, really not about poker. Even the studio version, where Bon sings about royal flushes, isn't about poker.

The live version has completely different lyrics, and in both cases it's always been about venereal disease.

Ace of Spades is about gambling in general, BTW, not just about poker. There's references to craps and other games in it as well.

Bob Dylan does a song for that movie called Hucks Tune..It's a pretty good poker song.

She hides it well if that's the case, given that she pretty much never wears pants

Her song (I've been inflicted with listening to it at work waaaaaaay too many times) isn't actually about poker anyway - in much the same way that The Jack has nothing to do with poker. Though at least The Jack is a good song

Eagles and the song "Desperado" don't you play the Queen of Diamonds boy, she'll beat you if she's able, you know the queen of hearts is always your best bet, or something to that effect.
