so do i want to be playing loose and aggressive players?
for some reason Ive always just assumed that you're better off playing with loose and aggressive players if you wanted to win more. however lately Ive found that my luck isn't good enough to keep up with the incesive gambling that goes on with loose tables. I'm the type of person who isn't even surprised anymore when my opponent catches runner runner cards to beat me, my luck is that bad. this is why i feel more comfortable at the more expensive tables because they tend to be tighter and not complete donks like the lower priced tables, even though my skill level isn't quit up to par when it comes to some of the players at these tables.

Didn't notice it till I just donked off a table with you at it. Actually, betting my trips wasn't really a donk off, just that I ignored that little voice in my head that said "he has the straight!"
I think usually the maniacs are really in it for the coin flip. Sometimes however there is a $/hour element involved. Either get going or get out. I have found so many things here that have improved my game, but still haven't found the secret ingredient that lets me win everything I enter. Today I am ITM 2/4 sng's, positive for the day at micro sng's. If I could get a few more positive days my BR might be up to doing a $5 sng. I would hope to get a game there with a bit less varience than the 1 & 2 dollar tables. |
