I love the first one :D

Guy went all-in on a thin draw to the crappy end of the straight

I hope you got his name for your buddy list.

Second one`s just a train wreck, really. Villain probably puts you on a set or two pair. From his point of view it doesn`t look like you could be chasing the diamond flush, because there was only one diamond on the flop.

Sort of on topic, I have yet to notice any drop at all in the game selection at Stars. Then again, they're one of the undecided sites still, so perhaps they're even bound for a slight increase.

I'd taken a break since before the US ban, and hadn't played in a couple of months... having come back and played a little at each of Pacific, Noble, PokerHeaven and Party, I haven't noticed any particular issue with any of them being particularly tougher or quieter (at least on the Omaha H/L tables). I'd figure that at certain times of the day (when you'd have been more likely to get drunken americans coming online), games may be scarcer and/or tougher, but so far I haven't seen any significant changes.

The one place where I have seen a definite change in recent days is bodog. At least one of the other big forums is recommending it as their no.1 choice for U.S. players (and we now have a link to it from CC).

There are clearly new players there who have migrated from sites now closed to them; I`ve been in a couple of games there recently where noobs were asking questions about the site and the interface.

Looking for easy 'Fish' to play against, I suggest checking out bodog. I have encountered many fish there trying to be Jamie Gold, only they are not very successful at it, look at my results from sunday night.

I didn`t know that Kozlo but, having checked, I see you`re correct. canada is the only country they ban. Apparently it`s because they are actually licensed in Canada and the terms of their license require it. Since I don`t know anything about Canadian law, that`s as near as I can get to understanding it.

Oh dear, bit of a problem. That means we are possibly not being very clever to recommend them (as we now are) on the forum`s front page as a solution to the American ban. It solves that problem at the cost of creating another. :(
