Small bankroll 6max vs fullring Do you think with the small freeroll bankroll I have accumulated (a little more than 5 bucks on Stars) should be played in full ring .1/.2? or 6 max? Does it make a difference really? or maybe I should just stick to those double or nothing sngs they seem pretty easy but a serious grind to build the roll .85 cents at a time.

re: Small bankroll 6max vs fullring poker definentily full ring. Sit back and wait for hands. Pokerstars also has a .10 buy in 360 person turbo sng if you get sick of ring games.

Well, I seem to be a minority in the full vs 6 person discussion. I play limit, might make a difference. I make much more at a 6 person game. I think the reason may be that in a limit game no one folds for one bet, so you have many more hands in the game to suck out on you. If you play tight in a 6 person game your good hands are more likely to hold up. Yes the blinds come around more often, and for that reason I resisted the 6 handed games for years. But since I tried them a few months ago I am winning a lot more. With such a small BR, try the lowest 6 handed limit for awhile and see what happens. And post back and let me know. Play tight.

Alright I am probably going to stick it into full ring and just sit back....hopefully I wont catch any beats and if I do whatever its freeroll monies and I will probably throw in a few of those .10 mtts on pokerstars cause they are pretty soft but kind of frustrating. Anyway thanks for the advice all

re: Small bankroll 6max vs fullring poker FR and play either limit or Pot limit to control your chances better. No limit is too crazy. You wont go very far with such as small BR unless you get really really lucky. Oh yeah, play real tight too/avoid coin flips. did the same with the freeroll money i won on party poker

do somegrinding away at the double or nothing's. Goal is to hit top 5, Play solid and tight, and dont chase straights or flushes. It will take a little time but you can build up. remember you only have to have 1 chip left to hit the cash. Avoid heads up play with the big stack if you dont have a monster or the nuts
