Slumping on Titan
Man, can I not win on Titan the last few days. I've tried any level and its the same result. Yet I go over to Party, finish 36/1300 in a MTT and place in 4/6 SNGs. What the hey? Do you guys usually just abandon the site for a week when you run into this or what?

I do, yes. Doesn't make sense, but if i'm playing well and getting rivered all the time, I change sites. I've been playing over a year online now, and win consistently on Full Tilt and Pokerstars. I dont have anything like the strike rate on Titan or Party Poker (from my observations on Titan, I genuinely believe it is biased towards weaker players, as poor play seems to get rewarded far more than the percentages would suggest).

Sorry Hurricane, didn't mean to hijack your thread. To answer you question, I do leave if I'm losing too much. Sometimes to another site. Sometimes just to get away to make sure I don't tilt |

Some sites are better for tighter players, some are better for loose players, etc... in some ways if you're not doing so well at one site switching may make some sense if your current mood and game are better suited to a different type of opponent, but mainly you change sites to cool off a little, or take a break from poker even, so you avoid tilting and doing more serious damage to your bankroll...
