| Sklansky's No Limit Book Anyone read Sklansky's book on No Limit Hold'em? I'm considering getting it but am interested in what others thought. I've already read Harrington's books, and was looking for something more theoretical. I know Sklansky's "Theory of Poker" is more geared towards limit games. Any other suggestions as well? |

| I own Skalansky's book but I found it very boring. I didn't read the whole thing, just the beginning and skimmed through the rest. It relies a lot on mathematics and it applies to other kinds of poker, not only no limit. The best poker book on the market is harrington on holdem part 2. I used to be very conservative, even in the later stages of a no limit tournament. But after reading harrington on holdem part 2 I've got a very solid aggressive game. I really loved the beginning chapters on making moves, and the last chapters on short tables and heads up. |
