On The Skids Lately

Hello All:

I just want to announce that my play as of lately has been less than what im used to, to say that politely. Every since i've moved from Cali to Texas iv'e only won one tournament, and lost something like 10. I start off good waiting an being patient, then after the first hand I lose it's like I can't win anything else. I think due to the break maybe my luck took a change for the worse, because im still betting and calling like I used to. I dont know what it is, but thing's really do need to get back to normal. I just wanted to tell you guy's/gal's what's been going on with me.

I can assure you, it happens to us all, Sherm. I would say maybe you need to take a break, but since you just got back from an extended one...

Just don't try to push it. Sometimes we inadvertantly play differently because we're tired of losing and are trying to make things happen, you know? Maybe step down to some micro limits to wear some of the rust off before you jump back in with both feet. Good luck to you. I'm sure things will turn around soon.

Luck comes in cycles. You could win a lot in two weeks and lose a lot in the next two weeks. Some streaks vary in time. The bets thing to do is take a break andwait for the losing streak to end.
