i way prefer the 9 handed turbos.. takes just over half an hour and i can get in a huge volume... i dont really have the time for 45 man tourneys even though its only 2 hours tops.. but this is true for every level.. slowly the play is getting better and there are more regs in every level.. which sorta bites into ROI a little.. oh how i remember the days back 3 years ago when the table consisted of mostly fish.. and roi went through the roof!.

9 player Sitngoes-they generally pay top 3 or 33% while the bigger tourneys take longer and the payout percentage is less. For a beginner with a limited bankroll, folks may want to try the Absolute or UB $0.20 entry fee 1 table SitGoes. I find they don't take long, and the competition is generally soft.

I'm one of those sng grinders. i ussually multitable the $1.10,$3.25, or $6.50 45 man turbo. i found the 45 player format the most easily profitable format, its more top heavy of a pay structure but if you multitable these sngs you will just need to get a couple of deep finishes to profit. i tried the 9 player sngs but i dont like the pay structure there. it might be that 33% of player get paid but finishing 2nd or 3rd really isnt that much of a pay out. in opinion i rather spend $1.10 and try and win 1st in a 45 player sng to win $14, instead of playing a $1.20 9 player sng and only win like $3.50. but everyone has their own preferences i guess.

re: Sit n Go Grinders poker My best game has been the 18-man SNGs. Playing a nitty game early you can still make it to the final 9 with 1500+ chips and then a solid knowledge of ICM really pays off with the plays that you can make. The 27's have a good payout but the M sizes when it gets down to 10-11 can make for a bit more of a minefield.
