Usually the smaller tournies take a lot more work to get to the top..But if you have talent, then its good to join the 18 player because by the final table..you will have known how most of the players play their respective cards. Also, the pay out is a little better..But for a beginner at SNG, you should stick to the 9 player in order to cash more often..They require more effort but everyone has different opinions..Good Luck at SNG

9 man sngs would be best. Tournaments with lots of players can have big rewards, but you won't consistently be making money. There will be huge swings and long periods of not cashing and even longer periods of not cashing big in the final three. Sngs are great to build a bankroll or even make steady money. I do love tournaments though and I play them for fun. But to make money i would definitely chose sngs.
