Should I move up or wait?

I moved up to 25 nl recently and was doing great until I lost some and felt like my BR couldn't handle it anymore. But now I see on PT that I was actually up $43.25 over 2k hands. I'm up $263 on 10 nl over 32k hands. My BR is at around $350 right now.

Should I try to go back up or should I wait?

If you have to ask ... Shouldn't you wait?

Take 2-4 buyins and take a shot, if you loose them drop back.

Well, proper BRM says that you should not move back up yet. I was in a similar situation to this not too long ago, and ended up making the wrong decision (moving back up when I was around $600 on Ultimatebet).
If you are running good at 10nl I would sit around and rake in a few more bucks first. I am a believer that having an extra cushion in your BR will help you play your game better, as the hits won't be as painful. My vote is to take your time, as a little extra money never hurt anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if you can beat 25nl, but with a BR of $350 even a few suck-outs will send you tumbling back down, which could lead to you questioning your skills, or even worse to donking off a chunk of your stack trying to play "catch up". Grind it out and when it really is time to move I think you will know. GL and keep up the good work.

I think it is funny how people take BRM (Bank Roll Management) so seriously at lower levels. I mean we are talking about $100 here. if you loose it you can deposit more.

I do think it is a good idea to get in the habit. But, its not like people don't have $100 of disposable income a month. What is it .. one tank of gas?

That's not the point. What happens when that $100 goes up to $300 or $500? That's no longer just a hundred dollars. That money is yours, not PokerStars or some gift, you earned, its yours. If you lost $500, would you re-deposit $500, probably not.

by practicing it at lower stakes you will practice it at higher stakes.

I totally agree with this. If you are having to ask opinions, then obviously you arent feeling comfortable with moving back up. Enjoy playing good cards and the money you are making now. When you are ready to move up YOU will know.
