A hand replayer (for analyzing your game) 7. A decent chipset 8. Bankroll 9. A strategy 10. a laptop etc |

| Add experience to that tool belt. There is no better teacher than just doing it! You don't need to calculate odds on hands if you've played enough to experience them. I'm finding the more I play, the more I'm learning. |

Another piece of software that is a must imo is pokerstove, which you can get for free. Also a poker forum and poker friends you can talk to on an im service to go over hands and discuss strategy. Obviously we've got the forum part covered since we're posting on one . |
