Selling PS Play Money Chips

Hey does anyone know any good sites that are reliable and will buy play money chips. I want to know this because my friends are looking for a place to sell them. A direct pokerstars transfer would be preferrable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a myth, people do buy play money chips it's a pretty good way to start a bankroll as long as you know how to play. Much more effective than sitting through massive free rolls I think.

Really wow? To be completely honest I wasn't 100% sure. This is a silly idea to purchasing play money chips. How do these sites that purchase the play chips make money? Another question is how do you build a bankroll with play money chips? Playing in the round 1 free roll to make round 2 and then hoping to cash? I'm confused...

I play pokerstars and to get a shirt is atleast 500 FPP. It would make sense to me if they let players trade 10 million playmoney for a shirt. They would get most of the cost back in shipping and handling cost and get great advertising.

They sell them back for more than they buy them if you look at the prices for buying and selling on these sites you will notice that.

People buy them for whatever reason, they'd just rather play higher stakes poker without the whole losing "real" money in a hand and don't have to deal with building their own bankroll by going through the extreme donkey low phases. People also buy them to test software programs I would assume and to possibly test other strategies.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows any purchasers of FullTilt play money.

Inscore77 left a link for a post. 2million minimum trades for $6 I'm still baffled you can't even bring that much to a table. I've thrown or given away a couple million ps anyway, collecting seemed pointless.

Early in my poker playing days on PS I played in one of the 12000 people play money chips and I placed 3rd for a crap load of chips that I then wasted on purpose playing as many play money cash games as possible seeing how many high stakes tables I could play at one time.

Wish I knew about this then.

Full tilt has play money 500,000 entry tourney for real cash. Its one on my goals when running bad and I want still play, but dont want to risk my BR in that current session.I play freerolls galore even tho I have cash BR. I've had over million in play money on tilt twice and got bored and let my teenage son play them away.Last time I had 2.3 million on a bet( $20.00)from friend at home that I couldn't do it again. Again I melted the stack to nothing and guess what. I find out about this tourney and people buying play chips for cash. I just havent been motivated to do it again. MY SECRET to doing it!!! I played Omaha mostly, and played razz some. Play money takes skill also

I have used TradeYourChips.com : Buy and Sell pokerstars play chips. once. It went off without a hitch. My only advice is to start small. That way if u get scammed you are not out a bunch

Yes. Somehow it never ceases to amaze me that reputable sites which make very decent money often take it upon themselves to make their own horribly amateur/crappy looking websites. Site owners who can't even type in complete sentences or spell expect you to trust them? You've got me. It makes them look unprofessional and almost scam-tacular, but because of online communities such as this one, I'd suspect it would be pretty hard to keep a cheat site going for any period of time successfully. If you're not sure, don't trade a majority of your stack to start off with. Give 'em a test.

Watch out for playchipstore.com, used the name PokerSetup33 (Atlanta) and his email linked to his paypal is Codymunger@gmail.com, he's a scammer. Said he was part of the bbb and is an affiliate with pokerstars (lies). His website went up June 1/08.

There are two reasons pokerstars playchips are worth more than all other sites.

1. They are PS everyone plays there.

2. They cap your playmoney bank at 20M.

But it can be done. As my signature says I stared my bankroll with 1M playchips (sold for 10 bucks). I have never deposited a nickel.
