| Sealing the Deal There have been a lot of SnG threads going lately and I've been participating in them as my primary game for a few months. (prior I was a ring game guy and still prefer that style) In reviewing my finishes, I'm finding that I am finishing in second far more frequently than winning the whole thing. I think this can be attributed to my difficulty in playing an aggressive style heads up. It's something that I know needs to be done in a heads up situation but I'm not comfortable with it yet. So what I'm looking for are tips that will help me achieve more first place finishes and tips on how to get more comfortable playing an aggressive style. Is it just something that you get better at as you play more...like any poker game? I also want to note that I'm not losing a lot of these match ups because I'm down too many chips to come back from (it's usually about 60/40 for the OP) ; its that I'm usually up against a more aggressive player who seems more comfortable throwing around chips than I do. Suggestions?? Edit: I'm playing 6 man SnG's in primarily PLO and PLO8 if that makes a difference to some of your thoughts! |

| interesting. lots of 2nds.. mean lots of cash Congrats..and well played obviously. Personally agressiveness works best without cards. thus the meek approach with the cards ( heads up ) will win because of the sudden show of weakness.. |
