sad news in the poker world

After spending the last couple of months learning all i can about the history of poker as well as getting deeply involved in any type of reading i can, i am genuinly saddened to hear that another great player has now left us.
Puggy pearson at the age of 77 was one of the pionerring poker players and someone that i would have loved to speak to once, even just to say hello.
sorry if its already been posted on the forum but just had to say my peace.
Rest in peace my good man.

Thanks Trancnd I hadn't heard that and glad you posted it for all of us to see. You're up on things! I have to agree with you that he'd been someone great to sit down and just listen to him talk. Nice post.
