Rush Auto Fold

I was playing rush poker last night and noticed how often I left the hand early and clicked the fold to move to the next hand. I realize after I fold I get moved, but does it help to stick around to see who raises and how often. I tried both ways waiting until my turn and ending the hand early and moving on. I was able to collect and make more notes by waiting until my turn rather then rushing off to the next hand. I was wondering how you all feel about this?

the point of rush is to play fast. If you want to look at what the others are doing, just play normal tables, imo.

Also those who use tracking software get all the stats from each hand no matter if they quick folded or not.

I only fold if there was a raise, i have crap,,,, if i am on the button and it's folded to me i raise it, just to steal the blinds..

I do wish that you could sometimes fold but still remain at the table to see how it plays out.

At 100nl, I'm down 26 buy-ins at rush and up 114 buy-ins at normal tables. Ergo, +14000 to rush being the devil.

you can. Just sit-out before folding and you'll see the rest of the hand.

understandable, I can understand that cash games are the devil but mtts on the other hand.......

Just play normal tables if u wanna take notes on people. It be easier and less confusing

Sitting out after each hand while in a Rush MTT gives you more opportunities to take detailed notes.

Although, I don't do it because it's best to get chips as fast as you can.

?? When I'm playing rush since I don't have a tracker I just keep the last hand window open and constantly look back to see what moves people made. Sometimes it does take forever for the finished hands to populate, thats undoubtedly when someone uses their timebank or D/Cs.

I usually auto fold as fast as possible when playing rush so's I can get to the good hands. I have definitely missed out on some cha-ching hands playing like this but then again do I really want myself to think its possible to get quads with 48o? I'd rather just trash em and move on.

Use the "sit out" feature later in the tournament, I use the auto-fold early to accumalate chips by seeing as many hands as possible.

ok, for donkaments i can understand. you play so many more hands in rush ones that it's actually a deep game for most of the donkament, and that's a huge luxury as far as donkaments go.

I recently started playing Rush Poker Play Money as I wanted to learn how it was played. I basically have the same problem that you do. I started today slowing down as I've been zap, zap, zap until I think I have a winner. Today I started slowing down and in my opinion the slow way just might be best. I'm not a huge money player being retired and lots of time on my hands. I don't get moved after each hand, but rather all the other players swoosh off to never never land. I do agree it would be nice to know how some of the hands you folded fared against the others so when they come back around you will know how to play them. At my age of 73 I don't see like I used to and 90% of the time when I win or lose I usually don't know what I won/lost too. It's a very interesting way to play, but can become addictive easily.
