I do not care how you slice it ....there is no defence agianst someone how goes all-in ....you have him big time ....make all the right moves...and he/she hits two cards in a row that beats you! just a thought....DO NOT THINK you made the wrong decesion just because you lost that hand !IT HAPPENS to everybody!

It has happened to me many times on FT. For some reason I chalk it up to a bad run of cards. The second time it happens, then, well....what do you think?

I do feel like a made a bad decision when that happens to me.

If I would have folded - I'd still have chips.

Once that turn comes, you're just like yeah, the straight is going to hit on the river. Then it does..........yeah, at least I called it.

There is a defense against that....it's called variance, and cream rises. Keep playing the cards the best way you can and it will all be +EV in the end.

yea there really is no way around it...it does happen alot and i get discouraged also, but there is absolutely nothing you can do but move on to the next hand!

Once or twice is ok it doesn't bother me. If it happens frequently then i tend to go or tilt and stop playing poker for the day.

Just remember if you make the exact same 100 times you will be making enough from it that you can forget about the 5 or 10 bad beats youve had along the way...

This is where its important to learn not to be results oriented. It doesn't if matter if you lose a hand or have a bad session, as long you you are making the correct decisions, you will be profitable in the long run

I have noticed this alot more on FT recently too.In the last month or so,the runner-runner suckout has been unreal,and I am not talking about plays I am involved in,just watching other players at my table when they go all-in.
I only play at FT and pokerstars these days and spend 90% of my time at pokerstars now because of this.It does happen at pokerstars but not as often as FT which in my opinion is starting to ruin one of the best poker sites out there.

I quit playing pokerstars because I felt like more bad beats were happening there than at Full Tilt.
