| 31 tournaments is a very small sample size, especially if the fields are large. For the purpose of illustration, let's assume the field size is 1000 every time. Mathematically, a given player's expectation would be to make the final 10 once in every 100 tournaments. As for bad ROIs, check out Negreanu's recent blog where he presented some data for people who had played a bunch of $10K WPTs and lost bundles. |
