Rockets holding Up!!!!!

I couldn't believe it last night, I was delt AA two times. But the real deal about it was, they both held their ground. It seems this doesn't happen very often, rockets are normally my death wish. I'm sure you guys can relate.

Pocket Aces if held till the end will usually win around 80% or so of the hands.

I generally like to limp in with the aces. I've had too many instances in which a bad flop comes out with a high pair causing me to lose to trips. Plus limping can give you a safe chance to slow play them allowing you to get even more out of the pot.

Man, oh man. My pocket rockets seemed to be unbeatable in last Sunday's PokerJunkie freeroll. Throughout the tourney, I was dealt 4 pocket aces. The first 3 won big pots. Then, near the end of the tourney when I had about 50,000 in chips, some guy went all-in with about the exact same as me. I called and he turned over pocket kings. Well, I was thinking that my AA would hold up for the 4th time in a row. Well, the flop crushed my hopes when it gave him his set of kings and I was left with less than 300 in chips (I went out next hand). What a horrible hand.

funny thing about aces..

I always win with them in live games, and NEVER win with them on the internet. Conspiracy.... who knows but it's the truth.

I guess I have not been so unfortunate yet, but AA always seems to hold for me online and at home games. I could see hating AA if you have some bad streaks with it, but "knock on wood" I'd take them over almost anything. I think KK is not as safe since if K and A appear on the flop, you might feel to secure for your own good! I find that a good time to bluff as an opposing player, and with AA there are no worries!

I was playing on Ultimatebet yesterday and got AAs I flopped 4 of kind I was astonished. That one was a really hard hand to maneuver. How does one handle that without shouting I GOT 4 ACES? What's the best way to play something like that?

Thanks

I admit I usually play my pocket aces but I have been much more cautious after losing with them three times in a row. Now i treat them like any other pairs watch the play and see how it goes if it seems right stay if it looks fishy get out.....lol hard laydown everytime....lol
