Riley's Live Poker Tournament!
Howdy!
Well my mate e-mailed me a few days ago with this link http://www.rileysltd.com/poker.html Riley's (The snooker \ pool bar club) has teamed up with 888.com to provide poker games all over the country (UK) I phoned up and they are now running poker tourneys on Tuesdays and Thursdays in my area so I went last night, it's only the second week it has been running. It was the first time I had been in Riley's near to where I live and I was impressed, really nice atmosphere and they had some nice circlular padded poker tables set out and a projector screen with all the details on, blind limits, entrants, average chip stacks etc. It was a £10 rebuy tourney (as many as you want for the first hour) and you could add on after the first break. I did'nt rebuy but I added on, one guy rebought about 7 times! You started with 2000 in chips and the blinds went up every 20 mins at first and then that went down to 15 mins after a while. 13 players entered and 3 were paid. With all the rebuys and add on's the prize money was as follows... 1st £180 2nd £111 3rd £74 Me and my mate went and he went out in 4th I on the other hand made it to the last 3 hehe anyway we decided to split it 3 way for about £120 each! It was a really fun tourney, even though there was only 13 players that will grow week by week as the word spreads round. I got a bit lucky once or twice but I would'nt say I made any bad move's, won a few coin flips though!!! I reccommend if you live in the UK and there is a Riley's in your area to check it out!
