Real Life Poker Tourney

So I usually play tourneys all the time with my friends.. usually about 5-8. We have yet to find the best way to set up our games. I was just wonderin how you guys might play or some suggestions if we want no longer than a 2 hours tourney..

How fast to raise blinds
What the blinds should be
How many starting chips--how to color code them.

thanks

5-8 people isn't very many, so you can probably have some reasonably deep stacks if you want to play for two hours. Off the top of my head, I'd try something like the following:

Starting stacks of 20,000

15 minute levels, as follows:

100-200
200-400
300-600
400-800
<Quick break to change out 100 denomination chips>
500-1000
1000-2000
1500-3000
2000-4000

Should work with four denominations of chips - 100, 500, 1000 and 5000.
