| Real Life Poker Tourney So I usually play tourneys all the time with my friends.. usually about 5-8. We have yet to find the best way to set up our games. I was just wonderin how you guys might play or some suggestions if we want no longer than a 2 hours tourney.. How fast to raise blinds What the blinds should be How many starting chips--how to color code them. thanks |

| re: Real Life Poker Tourney 5-8 people isn't very many, so you can probably have some reasonably deep stacks if you want to play for two hours. Off the top of my head, I'd try something like the following: Starting stacks of 20,000 15 minute levels, as follows: 100-200 200-400 300-600 400-800 <Quick break to change out 100 denomination chips> 500-1000 1000-2000 1500-3000 2000-4000 Should work with four denominations of chips - 100, 500, 1000 and 5000. |
