| It's about betting patterns. You need to observe your opponents play, so you can figure these things out. Try to make a note about how the hand played out every time it goes to showdown and you get to see what they were playing. For example, I called a guy with Q high the other day on the river on a board of A72KK. Wouldn't normally do that as a default play, or against most opponents, but have a note that said "min bet bottom pair into three players, two streets", and he had checked all the way to the river, so I called him with the "nut no pair".
