| re: Randy Lew (Nanonoko) short film poker Very nice, thank you for linking that. I can't wait to see him in the Big Game and hopefully he will be making more of a splash in other live events soon. Nanonoko is by far one of the best representatives of online poker, and perhaps poker in general. His attitude and personality just calms me down whenever I see his interviews and the like. When taking a beating or going through a downswing in poker, I should just think to myself WWND? (what would nanonoko do?) |

| BTW... I wonder if he had any trouble getting a mortgage for his new house when his primary source of income is poker? I'm sure he could probably actually afford to outright buy a place, and having 2+ million in a bank account doesn't hurt... but it does seem like anyone listing "professional poker player" as a job in a loan application would raise some red flags. I guess he probably actually has himself setup as an LLC or something and maybe has tax returns to show his annual income. But if one had not taken the steps to organize their poker income as a legally recognized self-employed business I'm sure it wouldn't be easy. |
