| Rakeback and the US ban From what I have realized it is ok to carry on playing poker from the US. The law says nothing about the actual game, just money transactions to and from off-shore gambling sites. I just wonder if this law will have any effect on the rakeback business. I’m an old limit grinder and play 3-4 short handed tables simultaneously. The rake is ridiculously high in all poker rooms, especially for short handed limit games. If I break even after a month of play I still earn a couple of thousands from the rakeback. And I want to carry on with this as well. I use Rakebrain. They have been really good with supplying me with the extra money a surely need. But does this stop now that the law has been passed? Is it illegal for them to send me rakeback? Does anyone of you have any information regarding the US ban and the rakeback industry? DoobieBrothers keep it smooth |
