| Rake? Hey! I went to an Omaha table on PokerStars and there was a little stack besides the dealer that was saying rake. I placed my mouse over and it says 3$. What is this? Does the game keep money from the pot for itself? If it does, does it take some money off the pot on every hand? Thank you ina dvance for your answer. |

| Thats how the site makes its money. At every table (apart from the play ones) the site will take money out of the pot. The larger the pot the more they will take. Normally its no more than $3 from any pot, though this will differ from site to site. The lower the limits, the smaller the pots, so the less rake the site takes. If you ever want to find out what the break points are, then look on that sites webpage, it should be listed there somewhere. |
