Railing tables

i was watching the final table of this tourney (top prize $100k) & not chatting. one of the players said "wow we sure have a lot of railbirds out there today" i was wondering how he knew. is he running a program that tells you or something? this was on stars.
do you rail bird? is trere any benifet. i watch a lot of games i cant tell if someone made a good fold or if the all-in was a bluff. what do you guys think?

If you turn on "show player pictures" most often you will see a railbirds logo. They get points for showing it and if they cash ITM. I don't know the specifics, I'm not an RB.

I strongly support CC with the logo in my avitar where-ever possible.

i dont mean people from another forum. i mean people that are nornally invisible (obsrevers) to the game.

I usually don't have a problem with it - if they are railing for me. Not sure how you could tell unless you were keeping track of when each person put a blip in chat. I just took some time to root around, maybe by turning "everything" on in chat - probably won't work.

I'm not sure how, but I think there is a way to know who's at the table. I may be wrong, but I think that was part of the way a cheating scandal was solved. The same observer (with privy info) was always at the same player's table?

Oh, and you can just call it railing at this forum .

Correct, in the cheat scandal, it was the phantom observer ( same player using 2 comps ) that allowed the hole cards to be seen. It wasn't however how it was exposed. CRAZYMARCO who finished 2nd, asked for a HH, the HH that AP supplied showed not just MARCO'S hands, but POTRIPPERS as well. The bets he made could only be explained as he knew what the hole cards were, but the same observer was also at the table every time.

I swear everytime i play upon the Pokerstars felt ,something weird happens for example this players tells me everything about the town i live in telling me how miserable i must be in life with the average income at 15k a year etc etc I was stoned on sum kickazz weed , an this person was a major Buzzkill my only thoughts were wtf u r playing at the same doller sit n go like me , Weird azz dude stalking out players life anyway i do not know how or why i'm not that smart all i know is the freak caused me to stare out my windows from time 2 time ,anyway i'll just assumed that someone was also WATCHINGU
