| Question for DoylesRoom players Has anyone else noticed a drastic change in this card room in the last 4 days? I was playing earlier in the week when they took the site down for a half hour to work on it. Afterwards, I found the format for the SNG's had changed. Previously, for the micro tourneys, each level lasted ten hands & starting stack was 1k, now, ten minute levels with 2k start. I like that (rebuilding bankroll after a particularly bad run.) I started with 18 cents I won in a freeroll (I know, pathetically small) and was playing the 10 cent tourneys & dominating. I won 50% of those & started playing the $1 tables. I played tight & smart & worked the bankroll up to $30. Then when the format changed, I immediately started losing everything. Not just losing, but only by the most improbable bad beats, constantly, e.g. I get suited AQ & raise 4x, 1 caller & flop is AQA. I bet, he raises, I push & he shows 22. Runner, runner 2's & I lose to quads. For the last 4 days, I have had nothing but consistently horrible beats. Quads losing to quads, straight flush losing to higher straight flush, etc. I have never been a "Sites are rigged" person, but for the first time, I am starting to wonder. I will concede that my win percentage was extraordinarily high prior to this so I'm asking the question, is this just the law of averages, or could sites actually have their own bots to discourage "winners" or recoup winnings? |
