Question about online tournament games...

Guys I could use some info...

I've been playing several tournaments on Party Poker but all the games seem to be 10-man table, and I really hate that.

Are their any online poker sites that cap at 6 man per table for tournaments?

I'm strictly talking tournament wise.

Titan runs 6 player table MTT guarantee buyins. I believe they run both rebuy & freezeouts. You would have to check their tourney schedule for times & buyin amounts.

hmmm I have never seen any on any of the sites, maybe just some SNG's. why wouldnt you want to play the 10 man tables i like them better I get to see more hands for free aposed to a 6 man table and with tournys if you did 6 man tables there would be twice as many tables, so its not tipical to see that

No I understand that... I watch alot of poker on CGTV, and every tournament I see is 6 man. That is why I was wondering about it.

Yeah that is correct Short... I was sure that 6-man hold'em was the norm... Guess I was wrong...

Doesn't 10-man add alot of randomness as to who is going to win a hand... Like you get so many players in on alot of hands... Its not like that in 6 man.

well yes it dose and the lower the stakes you play the more BS you will see, like a 2/4 cents alot more people will see the flop because they say its only 4cents to see it with my 74 off suit but look at it this way and a $5/$10 are you goingto be $10 on that hand i think not, also at a 6 man you will be forced to play alot of weaker hands as aposed to a 10 man table
there for

There are indeed some sites that offer 6 max tables in MTT format (not just SNG/cashgames). I'll do a little looking around and post back here with some of the sites.

Kenzie was right about the Titan MTT 6 max tables, they do run a few of those a day with a guaranteed prizepool.

Add PokerRoom.com to the list. Just saw a short-handed $20 buy-in MTT.

You can also find one at PokerStars occassionally.

Actually, short-handed games are pretty popular, so with a little searching, you could probably find MTTs in this format at quite a few sites.

If you dont mind a 9 player limit, Fulltilt plays all the big tourneys with 9 players, i dont particularly like the 10 man tables, but i do good with the 9 man tables, i dont know why, but i do better.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> buck

A few sites spring to mind namely at pacific poker who have $5/$10 6 seater MTT,s and i,m sure Ultimatebet and paradise have 5 seater turbo MTT,s.Just look around most sites will have what you want although maybe not at a time your willing to play.
