A question about Monitors
hello,
I have seen a very nice Monitor that has 1920x1200 pixels. It has good reviews from what I have seen and I can get at a good price. My question is Can I fit 9 Pokerstars tables onto this Monitor at the same time? Thanks |

Yes, in fact you can fit 12.
According to my highly unscientific experiment of screenshotting a pokerstars table at the smallest it will go, it is approximately 480 x 360 pixels. 1920/480 = 4 1200/360 = 3.333 So without overlap you can fit 12. Which monitor is it and for how much? I'm thinking of doing something similar in the not too distant future. |

Make sure your video card can support 1920 x 1200 - that is effectively HD video. A 22 or 24 inch widescreen monitor works best at that res. I had to buy a new laptop to run the 24" at 1920 x 1200 - otherwise it only went 1600 x 1200.

Thanks Guys. your help is much appreciated.
I had not considered the impact to the Laptop. I now need to investigate this. here is the monitor I am interested in Zachvac. Samsung SM245B 24" Its £295 on Amazon and I can use my Pokerstars FPP to buy it. |
