be warned this is a stupid question. so i was wondering if you want to look at your cards should you take off your glasses so the opponents cant look in them and see what you are holding or is there a certain way you should look at them when they are on?

I don't think this is a stupid question as it happened to one of my friends in our home game...
You could do what Greg Raymer does and put your glasses on after you have already looked at your cards and decided you want to play the hand... Although I wouldn't look at my cards before its my action anyway, if you do, make sure you don't put your glasses on before its your turn, otherwise your opponents who act before you will know your intention before it gets to you... |

That said, there are some terrible players out there who do let it happen.
If anyone's in any doubt as to whether they're one of these players, there's a simple solution: just don't wear them. |
