punished for complaining to ABSOLUTE POKER SUPPORT

I went back to play some more on vegaspoker247 because I got a rakeback payment in my account (it was late ofcourse). I wrote customer service about how the payments were always late and that they had lost a lot of players due to their new policies, basicaly complained to them. Their response was to accuse me of cheating at the tables. Lol I have never colluded at any game. I hate cheaters and watchdog whenever I can. However I have noticed how things change on a site after you make a few complaints. I got so many bad beat after bad beat all day. I have noticed the same thing before on fulltilt. Has anyone else ever noticed the correlation between complaints and treatment.

Sounds to me like the tiltmonster's gotcha.

I stopped playing at Absolute Poker a long while ago, horrendous site in my opinion. I've never examined the correlation between complaining and bad beats, but I might give it a go if I ever complain. Although I would say that being on tilt is the more rational conclusion.

Do more 1 and 3 outers come when you are on tilt? One hour on one table 57 hands and I see 3 -1 outers and 2 -3 outers, and 3-5 outers after the flop. I played them right as well. The point is only for those who have seen anything like this. I just want to hear if anyone else has run into this before. Im not trying to prove any conspiracy theories. Thanks.

now i expect not to win all the time so after i win a few tournys I know the bad beat is coming and i welcome it.
You can't win 100% of the times, if you win enough times to come ahead then you are doing well.

ok once again I log on for a tournament. First hand of first relogin and I flop full house go all in and get called. I lose to quads on the turn. Yeah they dont like you to complain. I have seen a lot of bad runs, but this is beyond that in such a short number of hands. Think what you want but this isnt right. Good luck all. Stay off absolute and their skins.

I don't think it's far fetched to think there is a correlation between bad beats and complaints, however I doubt that the poker sites are at fault. More likely it's our bad mood that makes us ultra sensitive to negative things that happen around us. When life is good we rarely focus on life's little irritations, however, when things are bad they seem to come in droves. Some think that negative energy begets negative events. Not sure if I believe that but it's a theory out there.

P.S. sorry about the bad beats, but we do tend to remember bad beats that happen to us more often than the bad beats we lay on others.

yeah I get real biased when I lose to quads in the first hand of a tourney with a full house. It happens every day but I am just biased cause I am in a bad mood. Clearly you are not on tilt at all and any suggestion that you may be recalling events in a distorted fashion due to your anger at the site is wide of the mark.

Poker sites regularly dish out bad beats to people they don't like in order to punish them. They could give them KK and their opponent AA, but they prefer to make it really hurt by setting it up so that a full house is beaten by quads. If you really upset them expect your Royal Flush to get outkicked.

They do this because they are run by 12 year olds.

You missed my point Phil. I was actually sticking up for you. Read my post again please. There is a theory out there that says a negative aura begets negative events and that you can influence an event to your benefit through positive thinking.

Had you been in a positive mood when you all-inned your boat- who knows - the quad holder mighta got disconnedted with out protection and you mighta won the pot after all

Well to be honest ive only ever had a complaint/issue with a poker site once. Full Tilt was the guilty party, did I notice any correlation between bad beats and the complaint, actually no. The thing is these threads appear lots, and id be interested to know what sort of backup you have to your "theory". If you could post some PT stats of your last 50K or so hands it would be interesting to have a look.

The solution is obvious - send them a really nice mail apologizing and telling them how wonderful they are and then enjoy the boomswitchy goodness.

I know this is a bit of an Old thread as they say...But I did google Absolute bad beats and this came up and I felt compelled to say something so here Iam etc
I joined Absolute in Jan and was able to get 50 dollars free to play there so I was like why not? Im Mostly a small stakes Sit and Go player myself and the beats that I got were just horrible on Absolute my first few months there..I mean I would go all in with Queens and flop a set and lose to a running straight..This happened 2 times as well in about One week and there were other numerous bad beats as well that were worst then any other site..I started to even ask myself is this fixed?? I know thats not the case because crazy things happen all the time in Poker..
Anyway one day for the hell of it i wrote an email to Absolute saying they were great and I love this site, and I dont see how anyone could not love this Site etc etc etc..
Since I wrote that email I do not get as near as the same amount of bad Beats I got before..Im sure its just coincidence but When in Doubt remember its Ok to Kiss Ass

Ok now this may sound crazy but 2 things i wanted to umm point out / say ... the first is well if you know something about the way servers work and coding you would know that the amount of effort it would take a poker site provider to single out 1 player and make sure that this one player always gets bad beats cause u pissed customer service off or whatever I think you may have misplaced ur marbles ... and second point is OMG out the thousands that play on such a big site do you really think that you are that important to them to even bother with you, or your account. Let alone risk the trouble they would get into if they did do unfair play ... you tend to notice alot more bad when u are are lookin for it

Yeah Im sure its hard to get the technology to do things. I am sure like when you get on a waiting list its hard to pop up a screen to like um special people on like um a waiting list. GTFOOH. These people have the ability to do whatever they want. Like yeah they manipulate and make action flops tie you up with two pair and pop someone a set. I am through talking about it here. This whole internet thing is going to be gone soon anyway. As soon as someone coughs it up about one internet site this whole thing is over. I am strictly live from now on. The next thing that happens is someones going to get a hold of an international bank and grab all of the americans cash like happened to me on NETELLER. Absolute poker is rigged. You're making all this noise for a few bad beats? You should be embarrassed of yourself. What do you think, noone here ever had a bad beat? You never gave a bad beat? You think live there are no bad beats? Trust me, quit poker, its not for you. After a few live sessions and a couple bad beats there, you'll start blaming the dealer, the floorman, the autoshuffler, the casino and even the cardmaker. Yep, they're all rigged. Save all these people a great deal of pain in the rear end and just QUIT.

I can relate. I had over 500 million play chips taken from me and was banned from playing on FTP after complaining about the number of people who sold chips or used foul language. Without any proof on their part, I was told that I was banned because I sold chips. Can you believe that! Banned when all I did was contact support of others doing this practice. After asking to speak to a supervisor, I was then told that I was abusive and rude to the staff at FTP. I've tried to set up another account, but whatever software they have in place, they seem to know that it comes from my computer each time I try to do it and I get messages saying that the user id is invalid.

It has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt 3 instances that Absolute poker has cheated people. How many times do you think it has happened where it hasnt been proven.
