progress of New Years Resolution

My New Years Resolution(s) this year were poker related and easily attained.

The first was play enough to become a silverstar VIP member on pokerstars. I knew they were changing the requirements and knew I could do it. (already achieved this one)

The second was to be more profitable this year in poker than last year. Last year I had a profit of just over 1100 dollars. So far this year I am already over 550.


Anyone else have poker related New Years Resolutions?

Congrats on already achieving one of your NY's resolutions Rldetheflop! It looks like you're well on your way to accomplishing your other goal...pretty soon too...hmmm, what will you do for the remainder of the year?

Heres a couple of my New Years Poker Resolutions

~ Get 1st place in an MTT with over 1K entrants - ACCOMPLISHED
~ Win over $100 in a single tournament - ACCOMPLISHED
~ Move up in stakes - ACCOMPLISHED (started at 2NL, currently playing 10NL)
~ Get my BR over $200 - ACCOMPLISHED
~ Get my BR over $300 - ACCOMPLISHED

this year is starting great for me, the next goal i want to accomplish is to get Iron Man which i should get next month in February playin that dam rush poker

Those are very nice. So you play cash and tourneys? how many of those mtt's do you enter in a week. I play in them sometimes maybe once a week or so usually just to take a break from the grind of stt's.

played in the discounted sunday quarter mil yesterday. did not cash finished 11000 or so when i busted out when shortstack in front of me on the button pushed with kings for about 4 blinds so i take my remaining 15 blinds or so and jam with A K trying to get heads up for what I am hoping is a flip at worse. BB has me stacked and calls with 10's(ugh). flop hits Ace and im very excited but river is 10. I would have had about twice the chip average.
