Which pro would you want to learn poker from? Say you didn't know a thing about poker and had the opportunity to pick one of these pros. They would teach you for a week or two straight everything they knew in an attempt to turn you into a poker assassin. Who would you pick and why?

Tuan Le. I love his hyper loose-aggressive style and his very laid back approach to the game. He plays like he doesn't care and I think that is a very scary and unpredictable. To paraphrase JC Tran when he played with Tuan Le at the WPT championship "...It's a 25K buy-in game for millions of dollars and Tuan plays it like its a $10 home game."

Honestly, I picked Phil Hellmuth. The guy might be a pompous ass, but he is still BY FAR my favorite poker player. The guy has accomplished so much when it comes to tournament poker that how can anyone NOT pick him? Sure he might blow up about "bad beats" (and I can say that I do the same thing on occasion, ironic huh? :P) but no one can deny that the guy has got SKILL.

re: Which pro would you want to learn poker from? i would definitely want to learn from ivey more than anybody. ivey has no fear in anything, i mean seriously...the guy bets 200, 000 bucks on a freethrow, are you kidding me? this is the guy to be like.

Well my first choice would be Jennifer Tilly but that probably wouldn't work out cause even if she did have anything worth teaching it would probably go in one ear and out the other.Too much eye candy So my real choice would be Eric Lindgren. Gotta be doing something right to win player of the year.
