your real question should be "TV pros" or "known pros". As far as proffesionals that I've sat with it's probably a huge list. 99%+ of which I didn't even know there names. Now the TV pros I've sat down with. Mike Sexton once in a small buy-in event at Foxwoods (a prelim for a WPT). Men the Master in that same tournament. I also play from time to time with 3 local players that are pretty big online MTT pros. I dislike playing at the same table with any of these players. I would happily replace them with fish.

re: Pro Players you have been at a Table With? poker I have played with daniel negraneu a handfull of times on pokerstars, he is not as active as he used to be, but he used to play .25c/.50c and .50/1.00 on pokerstars when I sat with him a while ago. If you play on pokerstars you can look up which pros are on and play with them if you want, some of them play low limits which is cool

Played w a few, most memorable was the late Chip Reese, bluffed him out of a 2 dollar pot at stud micro... he had just blown his 1 million WSOP winnings over the past year, was grinding micro as a Stars pro, was kinda sad. He died soon after that...

I played with Alan Boston too. And I played with Peter Gelencsér (Iteopepe) who won a WSOP bracelet about 2-3 weeks ago. If I remember well I played with him only about 10 hands. He raised preflop with J4 I called K8s. He flopped a full house, I had a flush draw. He raised...I tried to bluff him with allin but at the worst time....

2 1/2 years ago when I use to play. I was bankroll building from freroll money. I was playing all $1 sit and gos, and my bankroll had gotten high enough so that I could play $2 sit and gos So I sit in a horse sit and go, and andy bloch and allen cummingham were in it. I went out 4th, bloch was still in it, cnningham went out 5th. So I had to go back to $1. 3 days later I',m back at $2 and those guys are in again. Cunningham went out 4th, I took a 2-1 chip lead into head to head with bloch, and beat him ! I guess its part of their contract or something, to go play low levels once in awhile.

Ive played with a few pros who occasionally play some micro stakes limit games for fun, and some pros who do some online charity tournaments but not a whole lot of big names. Ive never actually sat down with a player in anything that wasnt online. Still saving money up to make my first casino visit.

I have 7 Busted-a-pro Ts. Just have to get lucky when they have a hand. :P Once, at Foxwoods, a pro sat down at the FLHE table I was at. I wasn't all that familiar with pros at that point -- he was tall, dark and nice looking. Mighta been Phil Gordon, but not sure. The guy next to me whispered that he's a famous pro. Everyone at the table got kinda stiff. Anxious. Why's he sitting down here??? What, he wants to run over our friendly little lowest-limit table? Anyway, first hand he plays, he limps in along with a batch of us. Kinda the norm for the table. Then, post flop, he bets from early position (I was not aware of position play then -- it was years ago --and that meant absolutely nothing to me) and everyone folds around to me in late position. Fold, fold, fold. I raise it up. What did I have?, you ask. Not a heck of a lot. 2nd pair and a straight draw, if I remember right. Just wanted to see what he'd do if I reraised, plus I was peeved that everybody was just folding to him. I mean, it was a no foldem table up til then. Just by sitting down, he changed things. Man, he put on this huge act. Stared me down, felt like forever. Asked if I had a set (Uh, no, I thought. Uh oh. What did I do? Do I need a set to beat his hand?) Asked some more questions. I grinned. "If I fold, will you show?" he said. "Well....maybe." (Hot damn, I thought. Is he really gonna fold to my crap?) He kept staring. I tried not to twitch. This went on for minutes. It was awkward. He folded. I showed (with some embarassment.) Quite the show, really. OK, I won the hand. But, you know, the joke was on me. See, up til then, everyone thought I played tighter than I actually did, since they'd only seen the hands where I had monsters. I don't think I won another hand for an hour. Well, not until I got another monster.... What I learned: Do not show your hand if you don't have to. And don't muck around with pros -- they do head games really well.

I sat down at a $1/$3 NL game at the Lumiere Place in STL only to find Dennis Phillips right across from me. He is a very nice guy. I didn't have anything for him to sign, so i asked him if he would sign my military ID card, and that i would just deal with the repercussions at work on Monday. He quickly motioned to one of his slaves, and a guy carried a briefcase full of 8X10s over and he signed one of them. We sat there and BSd for a while, I making sure that i did not get tangled up in too many pots with him. lol.

A Team Poker Stars Pro has a red Poker Stars symbol near their name like in the pic below. And as far as I know Full Tilt Pro's have an avatar that looks like them. I.E. not one of the normal avatars.

Live, I played just less than a full day of the 2008 Irish Open with Christer Johanson (sp?) who won it in 2009 and also has a WPT or EPT win to his credit. The main thing I noticed was that he was active opening pots, especially in late position, and even more so after that helped him to accumulate a good-sized stack. Doyle Brunson was the big name in that tournament. I didn't get to play with him, but saw him a fair bit, both at and away from the tables. What stood out for me was his gentlemanly demeanor, even when people would butt into his conversations to ask for autographs, photos and handshakes, which happened a lot.
