Prepaid Visa cards at Pokerstars

I know there are threads about this up already, and I know they worked previously, but I have heard of them not working lately. Has anyone recently deposited on pokerstars using a prepaid visa card? I am pretty sure I am going to deposit some money there and just wondering if I should go out and buy one or use moneygram.

Deposited yesterday with a Gift2Go pre-paid visa card.

I will try depositing more tomorrow and see what happens.

it's cause the visa's are full now... I got this email the other day after waiting 3 weeks for my cards:

Are these Gift2Gos from 7-11 or Rite Aid by any chance? Because those don't work for me.

I get mine from WalGreens.....I'd guess the ones at Rite Aid and 7-11 are the same?

I don't think they're G2G though..idk But I've heard that ones from Walgreens work, so they must be different somehow.

Hm. I'll have to look at that next time I'm at a Walgreens (all the ones from 711 and Rite Aid have a basic gold package) Have those cards worked for you in different denominations? I got the $25 one when I tried. I wound up using it to buy a CD on Amazon I wound up not liking, ha. Don't want that to happen again

My buddy Tim recently used the all-access visa and it worked.

i just used my Debit ATM Master Card thats linked to my checking account and it worked fine at Stars,, buck

Your PayTru card number still works as stated in the email. I got one last month (after May 1). I was wondering why I never got a card in the mail. Now I know. But the email they sent says card numbers issued would still work - and I just went to re-load at Pokerstars to try it and it did work.

However - here is the real problem. Most credit card companies are blocking PayTru transactions because they know it is for gambling - just like Epassporte. I have credit cards from 3 different companies. Last month the first one I used declined. The second worked. However now the second one is declining also. So I tried my last one - and it worked. It happens to be the company I work for - and I know it is a short matter of time before they start declining too.


So - I will probably load up my pokerstars account quite heavily today or purchase a gift2go prepaid card and try it.
