The PPA will be releasing additional details about the fly in in the coming days, as well as providing an advocacy action plan for members who are unable to travel to DC but still want to make their voices heard on May 23rd and 24th.

I wish I could go, but it isn't possible. I have written:

My states U.S. Senators Kerry and Brown. Brown supports casino gambling for Mass so I think he'll be on board for internet poker. He also replied with a real response to my letter addressing what I wrote. Kerry, I don't know his stance and only replied with a form letter.

I also wrote my district Congressman Barney Frank who has been pushing to legalize online poker for the past two years at least. He didn't reply to my e-mail however, but that's ok since I know his stance on the issue.

I wrote the Governor also, and received a reply that addressed the issue also but only in acknowledging the subject and my opinion on it.

Excerpt:
"Barton hopes to move his bill through the House Energy and Commerce Committee, presenting a better opportunity to move a poker bill in the House since the Campbell bill isn't likely to move through a House Financial Services Committee that is now chaired by Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), a staunch opponent of Internet gambling. Barton said that the PPA has been involved in finalizing the wording of the bill."

Thanks for the link. Disappointing turnout, but like the sign-Ease the Debt, Let Us Bet. :D
