Posting big blind twice I don't know if anyone else has come across this problem much, but it happens to me every now and then... In the CardsChat Party Poker freeroll today I had just posted the big blind on one table and then I got switched to another table and the next hand I posted the big blind again - obviously followed by the small blind. This really ate into my chipstack. It had been around 3,000, but after posting 2 x 400 big blinds and 1 x 200 small blind I was down another 1,000. Surely the software should prevent this happening so that when you switch tables you only pick up the blinds where you left off on the previous table?

re: Posting big blind twice poker The software could have prevented this if programmed as such. But even if it does allow this it's still fair from the overall game perspective since everyone in the game has an equal chance of it happening to them. Now if you had just had the button and then moved to another table and were actually dealt in and allowed to play the button a second time consecutively, then there wouldn't be a thread about it.

re: Posting big blind twice poker I believe I once read about Full Tilt that the software will try, when moving you, to put you close to where you were. But obviously that is not always possible and this does happen. The other night my friend was playing a freeroll and got switched to three tables and was big blind three times in a row causing him to pretty much blind out near the bubble. But, I have also had it happen where I was just about to get hit by some big blinds that would have hurt and they switched me to a table where the next hand I was button instead. Just another aspect of the game where you may get lucky or not.

Yeah I agree that definitely stinks but I don't think there is much you can do about it in terms of a programming stand point. Live tournaments they can at least move you to a table and put you in a seat where you would be closer and guarantee that you won't get shafted as such, or at least not as badly. Kinda like the cards, sometimes it's better to be lucky then good...
