pop upsw at paradise poker

i have just had a run in with paradise poker site and waiting for a reply to thier support department

today i deposited 20 dollars to play a few sit 5 dollar sit and go tourneys to pass away a quite sunday afternoon....during a tourney a pop up appeared while i was typing and next thing i knew i was joinin a 10 dollar re buy tourney that i never wished to join.....i immediatly tried to unregister but suprise suprise the tourney was already seating and i could not join...now ...paradise is not realy a very good site to play more than one game at a time and anyways i was not in the mood for some power play and got quite irrated to say the least and somwhat confused..leading to some bad calls and some good calls ..but on the wrong tourney game(i never said i was a female and do two things at once)....i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem here and i will also be posting the reply to my angry(but non swearing)...email to thier support.

well the answer was that the fault was mine and not thiers so i did swear and told em to stick thier site up thier arses....that reply really said that i was a liar and also gives some evidence to maybe that they have software problems or sumthin and cannot see it for themselves.

I've seen that they have these reminders pop-up occassionally, but didn't know you could join the tourney directly from it?? I would be right pissed too, Jock. I certainly hope you get your $$ back.

That blows. I would keep at it. Give it another try or two. Maybe if they see that you're not giving up, they'll listen. If you were really trying to bamboozle them, you wouldn't be persistent. Get 'em Jock!

I feel for you Jocksrock.....Paradise is one of the rudest sites when it come to customer service. I think one of my very first posts here was about how I hated Paradise because of their customer service. I had uninstalled it and planned on never playing there again until Nick put a CC freeroll there. I played the tourney but have never gone back since then. They are on my computer only for the odd CC tourney we might have and nothing more.
In my opinion Paradise Sucks!

Are you telling us "Everything" jock?
What about the part where you have to click a little box which states that you agree to pay X$ amount to join the selected tournament when you try and register?

I have to call BS here.

I play there a lot and have never seen anything like it before.I have to say that I've seen the reminders about up and coming tournies but you have to enter via the tournament window.Soz to hear about your bad experience at paradise i love the site.

Paradise has a lot of below average players so the money is pretty easy. Have not had any problems there so far.

i really do not know what happened...one minute i was playing a tourney and also chatting to a mate on icq...the next thing at another tourney lobby and registered....and because it was just about to start..i could not rectify it.....i have never done that before and can only guess that either they made a mistake or i clicked on it during me playing and typing at same time....either way i do not appreciate thier pop ups during another tourney and obscuring the screen to try and fill a last minute...nay...last second place on a another tourney. It was only ten dollars but that wasnt the point....ill be losin mahh money on another site in the future....
