PokerTracker v3 HUD - What do u have?

OK now that PT3 has the new HUD and it's amazing and super customizable - anyone care to share their setup?

What I did was:

name / hands / steal
VPIP / PFR / AF
3bet PF / flop / turn / river / total / fold 3bet

I color coded it too and made all the fonts 7 sized to make it fit nicely. Of course I have a 22" widescreen monitor.

What games do you use that for?
Also which ranges do you put in for colour coding?

How do you activate the HUD? I looked and don't see what/where to click to get it going. And you're not talking about Poker Ace HUD, right? PT3 has it built in?

Yes PokerTracker v3 Beta 8 has it built in. When you do the "Auto Import" and start it, there is a button that is automatically set to bring up the HUD.

There is a small button that appears on the table, and from there you can "configure statistics".

I use the HUD for all cash game sessions, it's definitely come in handy, but i am no expert is using the stats to drastically alter my play. I think it just helps me predict a range of behavior for certain situations.

In terms of color coding, I don't think you can configure it yet to change colors for certain ranges of play (specifically for VPIP and PFR). I just color coded each stat so they are easier to read.

If you want I can post a screenshot.

Thanks! Never knew that. Now I'm wondering, when I have it on full screen the HUD keeps the names in the area as if it were a small screen so names for the right side of my table are in the middle of my table (make sense?). Is there a way to make the HUD expand with the table?

Beardyian, with the new HUD it shows me the stats I have accumulated during that session at that table, which is useful. Perhaps u need to hit the "reset" button?

And joos - you can't get 4 tables with your macbook? Is it really old or have a super small screen? I have a 17" MacBook Pro and I can definitely play 4 or probably 6 tables with no worries because its running at 1920x1400 resolution. My desktop 22" monitor runs at 1600x1050.

I can do 4 but more than that gets crazy overlap. I have the new 13" 2007 Santa Rosa regular macbook. Love it in every way but its just not good for multi tabling.

Personally I do not use PokerTracker on my MacBook Pro with Boot Camp or Parallels. I do play when on the road and just save my hand histories, then pop it into my main PC at home where I have everything installed.

Anyone have the problem where the HUD "gets stuck"? It seems like mine lags forever in between hands, sometimes never refreshing until 3 or 4 hands later...

On my XP machine it works great. Every once in a while a table will get "stuck" yes but i just hit the button and select refresh, and it all looks good.

On my Vista machine, forget it, it runs like crap.

After you drag and drop the stats to where you want, click the PT3 icon at the top middle of the screen and then click save layout (or something to that effect, I haven't got mine on at the moment to tell you what it is called) then they should be where you put them every time you start PT3

Thanks. I never tried to move them around... I kept moving the window to "see" underneath the "HUD" and they'd follow shortly there after

My stats show up at cash tables, but they do not show up in turnys.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have the same problem, I was wondering why sometimes it is there then sometimes not.
The question I need to know now is does anyone else have their stats showing up in tourneys.

Yup I figured that out too. When the stats disappear, I select show last hand and it "resets" the HUD so the stats appear again. I actually put XP back on my computer as well, because Vista doesn't cooperate with all sorts of different software that I use.

No stats in tourneys. I don't play much ring so I'm not sure if I get stats there.
