| PokerStars make it easier to opt out of results sites I don't have any particular axe to grind against results sites such as officialpokerrankings, sharkscope, pokertableratings etc, but I do have a big problem with people that keep spouting other players' statistics from those sites and using it to taunt people at the microstakes level. I am a strong believer in the motto "don't tap the fish-tank", because weak players are where the profitability in poker comes from. Anyway with PokerStars it is now quite easy to opt out of these sites showing your PS statistics: Quote:

| The only thing is that this won't stop it or even slow that problem down. I see people spouting off stats on players that they've collected through PT3 or HEM a hell of a lot more often than what they've collected off PTR, OPR or SS, so this is still going to happen just as much. I agree with you in that it drives me crazy when people say that stuff to our bread and butter, but all you can do is find them on another table and tell them to stop(don't want to bring more attention to the fish ) |
