I don't think it has quite crashed yet, but it seems very close. My table is running extremely slow.

I'm pretty sure that when PS crashes, SNGs and tournaments buy-ins are refunded and the prize pools are chopped -- 50% is distributed to the remaining players, and the other 50% is distributed according to chip count. I remember PS went down about a week or two ago and this seems to be the way they handled the SNG I was playing at the time.

Not sure about the WSOOF events though.

  • What happens if the system crashes in the middle of a poker tournament?
  • In the event of a server crash, the hands in progress at every table will be restored by rolling back these hands. Each player's chip count will be reset to the amount at the beginning of the hand. In special circumstances, when a poker tournament needs to be cancelled because of a crash or some other reason, players will be compensated according to PokerStars' poker tournament cancellation policy.

Administrator: Many players are currently disconnected from PokerStars. To preserve the integrity of on-going events, we have paused all tournaments at this time. We will resume tournaments (and S&G regeneration) when the connectivity issue passes.

good
