PokerStars 150 WSOP Seat tourney tomorrow

PokerStars Tourney #51556764

PokerStars has a tourney tomorrow at 16:30 where they have 150 guaranteed seats to the WSOP Main event. You can enter by winning a $16 Double shootout satellite or buying in at $350 + 20. Right now there are just under 1900 entries.

Lets say by tomorrow they have 2500 entries.. that is still a 1 in 17 shot at winning $11k! Not bad.

A friend of mine played in this last year and won his seat to the ME. He won one of 232 seats and there were over 7700 players. The players will come out of the woodwork tomorrow. Especially because they are not having the Sunday Million.

I'd be shocked if they don't wind up with over 7000 again. You are going to have a roughly 1 in 33 shot of getting a seat if that happens.

I agree, I didn't even notice they weren't having the SM. Being that, its just about impossible there will be an overlay.

So Misch, lets do this. I'll bet $100 there won't be an overlay, if you lose you owe me only $10. Its $100 against $10. You like?

I wouldnt bet any amount of money that a PokerStars tourney will have an overlay, not even getting 10:1.

Wise decision. I was only kidding anyway, such a bet is a steal considering there is no SM, I figure at least 7000 players going at it, maybe more.

There is already 3,000 entries... I did not realize that there was no Sunday Million, so Yes there will probably be 7,000 entries by late this afternoon.

So, what is that, approx 1 in 46 chance of winning 11k.
