| Pokerscout hurting U.S. players/ Remaining U.S. sites Pokerscout is still showing U.S. poker sites' traffic and even making up falsified numbers for the sites that don't comply with them (Bodog). In the article below it is said that Pokerscout owner, Dan Stewart, tried to extort Bodog for a seven figure sum in return for removing Bodog from its website. Bodog did not pay the ransom and is still reported on Pokerscout.com. Bodog recently changed their software to hide all full tables. This makes it impossible for Pokerscout to give an accurate traffic number for Bodog. However, Pokerscout is still reporting traffic for Bodog and in my opinion reporting higher numbers than before Bodog's "hide full table" change (perhaps in spite?). Regardless of Pokerscout's motives, publishing traffic information for pokersites still left in the U.S. market is a threat to anyone who still plays on these sites and helps absolutely no one; except of course the U.S. Department of Justice. Players still playing on Merge, Bodog, and Cake (the top 3 U.S. poker sites) need to step up and let their voice be heard. We do not want Pokerscout reporting information for U.S. poker sites and therefore helping our enemy (DOJ). http://calvinayre.com/2011/09/27/pok...rtion-attempt/ |
